Growth tools, a rebuilt AI Website Builder and AI Assistant, and the TeleportHQ database

In TeleportHQ's 20 August 2026 release, paid workspaces get a Growth tab with visitor analytics and SEO checks, the AI Website Builder plans your whole site and can rebuild an existing one, and the AI Assistant works in tabs and asks before risky changes. Every project can use the built-in TeleportHQ database and charts, and the dashboard announces full applications, which aren't available yet.

New

Growth: Analytics and SEO & Performance

TeleportHQ's Growth tab, new in the editor's left sidebar, gathers the tools for a published site. Analytics shows who visits it, on the Overview, Audience, Acquisition, Behavior, Retention and Funnels tabs, for Today or the last 7, 30 or 90 days. SEO & Performance has Site Health, which audits the live site with Google PageSpeed and TeleportHQ's own checks, Contrast for hard-to-read text, Keywords, with Connect Google Search Console and AI keyword ideas, and Competitors, which compares your scores with similar sites. Many findings offer Fix with AI. Growth is for paid plans such as Pro: during the trial, it shows "Growth is a paid feature" and Upgrade. On a paid workspace, Visitor analytics in Growth Settings is on by default, so your next publish adds anonymous, first-party tracking to the site, with no cookies by default and no personal data; visits are deleted after 90 days. Audits need a published site without password protection. See What's in the Growth tab?, How to see who visits your site and How to check your site's SEO health.

A rebuilt AI Website Builder

TeleportHQ's AI Website Builder (Generate with AI) works differently from this release:

  • The Design Category and Mood step is now Design Preferences, with Theme Mode, Animation Level and Page Layout. The AI works out the site's visual direction from your description instead, and builds each section from a catalog of real-world designs.
  • The font cards under Colors & Fonts are set in sample text written for your business.
  • A new step asks A few fast questions. Continue without questions skips it.
  • Pick Pages is replaced by Site Map: the AI plans every page the site needs and builds the most important ones first. The others wait in the pages list under Planned — not built, and Create builds one, using AI tokens.
  • On paid plans, Generate from URL can rebuild an existing site. With Use the same content as the source website on, TeleportHQ copies the visible text of up to 10 pages and rebuilds them with the same wording. Images and files aren't copied.

See How to generate a website with AI, How to describe your business from a website link or a document and How to build the rest of your planned pages later.

The AI Assistant: chat tabs, approvals and questions

The TeleportHQ AI Assistant gets new controls:

  • Chat tabs: each conversation has its own tab, and New chat opens another. A conversation keeps working while you read a different one.
  • Approvals: in Assistant settings, the Automation switches Apply edits, Auto-allow data ops, Auto-allow project ops and Auto-allow generations decide what runs without asking. Anything else waits on a card such as Confirm database change or Confirm deletion. Under Safety, Pause after sets how many delete or update operations it may run in one message before it checks with you. Dropping a table is always confirmed.
  • Questions: when the assistant needs a decision, a Need your input card offers choices, or you type your own answer.
  • Long chats: at "Context limit reached", pick a later message under Start from or click Summarize into a new chat. Max context sets the limit.
  • Feedback and alerts: hover a reply to rate it or flag it with a note. With the editor in the background, the tab title shows "● AI response ready" or "● AI needs your input" and a short chime plays. If a session ends mid-task, the assistant offers to pick up where it left off.
  • AI Settings, new in the Project Menu, holds the business description, brand name, language, custom requirements and setup answers the AI works from.

The TeleportHQ database

A TeleportHQ project can now have a database hosted by TeleportHQ. In Data Sources, click + (Add Data Source), choose TeleportHQ database and click Setup TeleportHQ Database, then add tables to it. Its Plan Limitations box shows how many records and how much storage your plan allows. The TeleportHQ database works only on sites TeleportHQ hosts: in downloaded code, its connection doesn't work. See How to set up the built-in TeleportHQ database.

Charts and AI elements

TeleportHQ's Elements panel gains a Charts group: Line Chart, Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Doughnut Chart, Area Chart, Scatter Chart, Radar Chart, Polar Area Chart and Bubble Chart. Set a chart's Chart Type, Data and Options in Chart Settings in the right panel. A new AI group holds AI Section, AI Image and AI Video. AI Video opens Generate Video with AI, which makes a 4-second clip from a description, and can animate an image you add, for 9,000 AI tokens. See How to add charts and How to generate videos and 3D models with AI.

Plan changes: custom domains, failed payments and Vercel publishing

Three TeleportHQ plan rules change in this release:

  • Custom domains on Pro: a Pro subscription started from 27 August 2026 includes 1 custom domain per paid seat instead of 3. Workspaces that subscribed before that date keep 3 per seat.
  • A failed renewal payment: the workspace keeps working for up to 21 days while the payment is retried, instead of 2. The dashboard says "Your last payment didn't go through.", with the days left and Update your payment method.
  • Your own Vercel account: the Vercel option in the Publish window is offered only for projects created before 5 May 2026. Newer projects publish with TeleportHQ.

See How many custom domains can I connect?, My payment failed: how do I update my card? and How to publish with your own Vercel account.

Improvements

  • Left sidebar: sections are now the Sections tab of Elements, next to Primitives. CSS classes moved to the Classes tab of the Design Language panel on the right, which shows when nothing is selected. Generated with AI is now AI Hub in the Project Menu, and Layers & Files is called Pages, Components & Treeview. See Which elements can I add to a page?
  • Build Logs: in the Publish window, a deployment's Build Logs say whether the build is in progress, succeeded or failed, and Jump to next error moves from one error to the next. See How to read build logs.
  • Coming soon: a strip on the dashboard says when full applications arrive, with authentication, e-commerce, blog, workflows and the AI assistant chat. Until then new projects are static. The AI Website Builder's Interactive Features switch and Dashboard layout, + New AI Store, the new E-Commerce and Blog sidebar buttons, the Marketing Studio and interactive elements such as Tabs and Countdown Timer say when they arrive.

Fixes

  • In CSS Classes, deleting unused classes no longer deletes classes a page still uses, which made pages lose their styling. The CSS of classes used by imported code is no longer dropped from the published site and exported code.
  • An Array Mapper or a Table can be bound to a list kept inside a component setting or a state. The binding panel refused it.
  • An empty style value at a breakpoint no longer breaks that breakpoint's layout on the published site and in exported code.
  • Right-click menus no longer open behind an open window.
  • For graduates of an Academic workspace, publishing no longer puts a password on the site, the password can be added or removed, and the site's address no longer changes when they republish.
  • A security fix for workspace plans.
