Project folders on every paid plan, clearer subscription endings and caching for lists
In TeleportHQ's releases of 21, 24 and 25 August 2026, every paid workspace can sort its projects into folders, an ended trial or subscription says how long your work is kept and how to get it back, and adding an editor shows exactly what will be charged. Lists that show data from a data source can be served from a cache, and viewing or downloading your code no longer freezes the editor.

Project folders on every paid plan
From TeleportHQ's 21 August 2026 release, every workspace with a paid subscription can sort its projects into folders. Before, only Academic workspaces had them. On the dashboard, workspace owners and admins click + New Folder in the Folders section, and can choose who sees each folder. See How to organize projects in folders and How to control who can see a project folder.
Clearer endings for trials and subscriptions
When a TeleportHQ workspace's trial or subscription ends, TeleportHQ now says which one ended, how long your work is kept and how to get it back:
- The window that opens says Your subscription has ended, with Renew to Restore Access, to a former subscriber, and Your trial has ended, with Subscribe to Restore Access, after a trial. It counts the days left before your work is permanently deleted, instead of quoting a flat 30 days.
- In the editor, the project header shows Subscription ended — resubscribe to edit to the workspace owner, who can click it to subscribe, and Read-only — subscription ended to everyone else.
- When you subscribe again, the projects TeleportHQ archived when the subscription ended come back straight away. Projects you archived yourself stay archived. While a workspace has a subscription, none of its archived projects is deleted.

Exact charges when you add an editor
From TeleportHQ's 24 August 2026 release, inviting someone who takes a paid seat asks first and says what it costs. Before, the seat was charged without a warning. From 25 August, the confirmation shows the amounts your billing account will actually charge, including your credit: Your credit balance, Seat, for the rest of this billing period, Account credit applied, Charged today and Credit remaining after this seat. Before, it quoted an estimate that ignored your credit and any standing discount, so a workspace with enough credit was told it owed money. The window opens as soon as you confirm the invitation and fills in the amounts when they arrive. See How do editor seats work, and what do they cost?
Caching for lists
From TeleportHQ's 25 August 2026 release, a list that shows data from a data source has a Caching section in its settings. Tick Cache results to serve the list from a cache instead of asking the database on every filter, sort, search or page change. Pick how long under Cache for, from 30 seconds to 24 hours, and where under Store in: Browser, Server or both. On the TeleportHQ database, changes you make in the editor clear the cache on their own; other data sources wait for the time you picked. A list that shows only the signed-in visitor's rows is never cached on the server. Caching works on the published site. See How to show products on your pages.
Improvements
- AI website builder: if preparing your design system takes too long or fails while the AI builds your site, the wizard says "Your design system is taking longer than expected." or "We hit a problem preparing your design system.", shows the attempt and retries on its own. Retry now skips the wait. Before, the step could stay in progress until you reloaded the page.
- AI website builder: a build keeps working while its browser tab is in the background. When an AI service is overloaded or stops in the middle of a page, the build carries on with another one and finishes the page.
- Competitor benchmark: the SEO competitor benchmark in Growth shows how long it has been running. A site that can't be measured no longer stops the whole report, a slow run is no longer cut off at 12 minutes, and a run that was interrupted ends within about 2 minutes instead of leaving a spinner. See How to compare your site with competitors.
Fixes
- Viewing or downloading a project's code no longer freezes the browser tab. A project with a component placed inside itself, or a list's page buttons moved outside the list, now stops with a message that names the page or component to fix, instead of loading forever.
- A project with a component named after a word the code reserves, such as
Template, publishes and downloads again. When publishing fails for one of the common structural reasons, the message now says which page or component to change. - Text that contains a backtick character no longer breaks the exported code.
- A paid workspace no longer falls back to trial limits, such as a page limit or no code download, when part of its plan fails to load.
- Shared projects, under SHARED WITH ME on the dashboard, lists the projects others share with you again. It showed a spinner that never finished. See How to find projects shared with you (and leave them).
- After a payment, you come back to the dashboard or the settings tab you bought from, instead of a blank page.
- TeleportHQ's invoices for your subscription are created and emailed again.
- Drop-down lists inside scrollable panels and windows show every option and scroll, instead of being cut off after the first few.
