Bookings, a help center, scroll stories and page transitions
In TeleportHQ's 23 October 2026 release, your site can take bookings, run a help center, tell a story as visitors scroll and animate the move between pages. Plugins and project settings move into the editor's left sidebar, the AI Assistant asks before bigger changes on clearer cards, and published stores answer faster.
New
Bookings
TeleportHQ Bookings lets visitors book rooms, appointments, tables, classes or rentals on your site, By time, By night or By day, on a calendar of what's free. Open Plugins → Bookings, switch on Bookings enabled and fill in the Activate Bookings window: TeleportHQ adds the booking pages, sample items, opening hours, booking emails, customer sign-in and the admin panel. You manage items in the new Bookings panel and answer requests in Growth → Bookings. For a new booking site, pick the Bookings card in + New Project. Activating bookings requires a Web App, and booking reminders and reports need an active Trial, Pro or Premium plan. See What is Bookings?
Help Center
TeleportHQ's Help Center is a plugin for guides and answers, built like the Blog. In Plugins → Help Center, switch on Help Center enabled: TeleportHQ builds a searchable help center at /help, with a page for every article and every category, and a Help Center panel to write them in. The AI writes articles as Task-oriented steps or as Storytelling, your pick under Writing style. Activating the Help Center requires a Web App. See How to add a help center to your site.
Scroll stories and scroll videos
A TeleportHQ scroll story is a section that stays on screen while visitors scroll, so its chapters take the stage one after another. Add an empty Scroll Scene from the Motion elements, or one of seven finished stories, such as Product story, from the Stories sections, and time its chapters on the Scene Timeline under the canvas. A Scroll Video plays frame by frame as visitors scroll: Make one with AI makes a 4, 6 or 8-second clip with AI tokens, and Extend clip makes it longer. Stories play in Preview and on the published site. See What is a scroll story? and How to make a scroll video with AI.
Page transitions
A TeleportHQ page transition plays when a visitor follows a link to another page of your site. Click the Project settings cog at the bottom of the left sidebar, open Appearance → Page transitions and pick one of 17 transitions, such as Fade, Slide up or Curtain, or Design your own. It plays on every page, in Preview and on the published site. See How to add page transitions to your site.
Plugins and Project settings in the left sidebar
The TeleportHQ editor's left sidebar has a new Plugins tab that switches each plugin on or off: Authentication, E-commerce, Blog, Help Center, Bookings, AI assistant chat and Admin panel. A plugin with a panel gets its own sidebar button while you use it, and Enable Plugins…, under Edit in the Project Menu, switches on several at once. Project settings now opens inside the editor, from the cog at the bottom of the sidebar, with Advanced features under Editor → Preferences. Form submissions moved to Growth → Forms. See Where did the Edit, View and Advanced Features menus go?
A password for sites published without a subscription
From this TeleportHQ release, a site published without a paid subscription, for example on the trial, asks visitors for a password. Before the first publish, the Publish window says "Without a subscription, every publish is password-protected. Subscribe to make your site public." To share the site, copy the password from Password Protection in Publish → Production. To make it public, subscribe to Pro or Premium and click Remove there. See Why does my published site ask for a password?
Improvements
- AI Assistant: database changes come on one Confirm database changes card that says how many rows each change touches, and need no card when nothing matches. Deleting a page or component, and publishing, come on a Confirm these changes card that names each one and where a component is used. A waiting card is still there after you close the tab. In a web app, "a button that opens a popup" is one edit, with the new workflow previewed under it. See How to choose what the AI Assistant may do without asking.
- Accessibility check: a new panel in the Project Menu checks every page and component against 11 rules, such as images without alternative text, form fields without a label and text with low contrast, and offers a fix for most findings. See What should I check after publishing my site?
- Schema markup: a page's Page SEO Settings has a Schema markup section with the page's JSON-LD. Click Generate schema markup to have AI write it from the page's content, using AI tokens, or edit it yourself. See How to add schema markup to your pages.
- Edit image: the image editor gains Text, AI and Export tabs, ready-made Looks, and Undo and Redo. AI erases or replaces an area you mark, using AI tokens.
- Faster published web apps: a web app on the TeleportHQ database now runs its server code in the database's region. On a test store, the order page opened 12.4 seconds after Finalize Order instead of 35.5, and the card payment page 2 seconds after Pay Now instead of 15. A site moves the next time you publish it.
- Stores: you get the "New order" email for orders paid online too, and never for an abandoned checkout. Customer emails carry your store's name and your email provider's From name, invoices bill the billing address, and the checkout's choices work by keyboard and screen reader. On a checkout still as TeleportHQ built it, a cash order waits on 3 server calls instead of 7. Existing stores get all this the next time you publish.
- Cookie banner: the default banner says "We use cookies to measure visits to this site." and has a Decline button, which existing banners get too.
- Names and invitations: account, workspace and project names can't contain links, email addresses, phone numbers, amounts or messages. A workspace without a paid subscription, a trial included, holds up to 10 collaborators besides its owner, and one on Pro or Premium up to 50. Invitations are also limited per day. A form's Notification emails now go only to workspace members who have accepted their invitation.
Fixes
- When the AI Assistant's chat runs into a problem, it shows "The AI assistant ran into a problem" with Try again, and the rest of the editor keeps working. Before, the tab could freeze.
- A scheduled workflow the AI Assistant builds now runs on your published site. Before, it was saved but never ran.
- Asking the AI Assistant to restyle elements no longer clears their other styles, such as padding or borders.
- Right after the AI builds a page, its lists show their rows, instead of their empty message until you reopen the project.
- A duplicated page keeps its lists, their show-when conditions and the details links inside them.
- Work still running for one project, such as an AI store build or a plugin's setup, no longer writes into the next project you open in the same browser tab.
- In Authentication → Users of your site, Remove deletes everything the user added, not only their account. Their orders, invoices and bookings stay in your records.
- Collected Revenue in Growth → Orders counts paid orders only, leaving out abandoned checkouts.
- Marketing Studio no longer offers Connect, Post now or Schedule for social networks TeleportHQ can't post to yet.
- Security fixes for published sites with sign-in or a store. Sites get them the next time you publish.
